About Fiona Snyckers
I produced my first full-length manuscript at the age of 21, and spent the next several years busily accumulating rejection slips. In between, I lectured English literature at various insititutions – some reputable, some not so much – and wrote lifestyle pieces and reviews for Style magazine.
Then one day, about a year ago, a character by the name of Trinity Luhabe burst into my brain, refusing to be ignored.
I knew that one book would never be enough to contain everything I wanted to say about her, so I planned a series of novels. The first in the series, Trinity Rising, will be published by Jonathan Ball in March 2009, and I am currently writing the sequel.
I live in Johannesburg with my husband and 3 children.
